Rob Stewart was a Canadian film maker and conservationist. He was making and directing the documentary films Sharkwater and Revolution. At the age of 37 he died in a scuba diving incident while filming in Florida his third movie: Sharkwater Extinction. Nevertheless, his cause is still alive and a lot of supporters fight for his mission against long line fishing and against the shark fin industry. In response to his movies and actions a lot of countries started to ban shark fins and also declared Marine National Parks. Most illegal fishing takes place in international waters. There is no police here, just Sea Shepard. Criticized by many for their radical methods, Sea Shepard is fighting for the protection of marine animals. Before you form yourself an opinion, just  inform yourself without prejudice. The contribution to the Ocean Film Tour V6, chasing the thunder, was especially inspiring. A thrilling high seas adventure feature documentary where two marine conservation captains from Sea Shepherd go on a hundred day chase of the illegal poacher and pirate fishing vessel, the Thunder.
